It is this expandable 'vacuum' which mimics the resonance of a sub-woofer giving the X-mini® Capsule Speakers™ a crisp and full-bodied sound and volume. The 'vacuum' can be extended during playtime and closed for compact storage hence the name “Capsule Speaker™” has been derived from the design and shape of the speaker.
